Ushering in the future of electric vehicles through a sentimental, big-picture commercial for Porsche Canada's national campaign.
Prolex Media partnered with Porsche Centre Winnipeg and Go Auto Canada to create a video for Porsche’s #TaycanAcrossCanada campaign, showcasing the future-thinking sentiment of Porsche's electric vehicle initiatives while delivering an inspirational story-driven idea. The video aimed to represent the Prairies and featured everyday life in Winnipeg from an urban commuter's perspective, focusing on vehicle details and performance. It demonstrated how technological advancements provide the next generation of drivers access to better electric vehicles and a better future.
The Prolex production team followed the storyboard and shot the commercial in order to build up to the epic penultimate sunset shot of the wind farm. The biggest challenges we overcame during the shoot were capturing urban footage and orchestrating precise rolling shots while avoiding other vehicles (which were not allowed to appear in any shots).
We delivered an emotionally charged video that aims for a greener future. Porsche and Go Auto praised the team for staying on brand while capturing the essence of the Prairies through the clean script, beautiful shots, and smooth transitions. This work earned us further collaborations with Porsche, including a video for the 2022 Dreamers. On. campaign.
